Hotels in Seville

Seville is an artistically and culturally rich tour destination. The city is the fourth largest in Spain. Seville is chiefly popular for exhibiting the real spirit of flamenco, bullfighting and fiesta.

Seville has few of the world’s most amazing tour destinations. The great Seville’s Cathedral, now given the status of being the world's largest church, is an eye treat. The plush interiors of the Seville’s Cathedral are worth seeing.

The Seville’s Cathedral came into being between the years 1401 and 1507. It was built over a mosque. For a spectacular view of the region, you can climb up the stairs that run from the inside of the Cathedral. These steps will take you to the La Giralda set at the height of 90m. La Giralda is the tower of the great Cathedral which used to be the mosque's minaret. You can buy postcards if you don’t have a heart to climb so high.

As you move ahead, you get to see the Moorish art in the form of a fortress called the Alcázar. This was constructed in the Muslim-era. Muslims and Christians inhabited in this fortress for many centuries.

A word of advice, the city witnesses extreme temperatures in summers with mercury touching up to 50ºC. So, it won’t be a good idea to travel in summers. Try to plan your holiday in moderate months.
